For today, as previously announced by the President of the Trade Union for Education and Science (SONK), Jakim Nedelkov, a new round of negotiations is scheduled between the Trade Union and the Government to negotiate the harmonization of salaries in the education sector.

Nedelkov says the decision for strike of the kindergartens and schools, which should start on April 11, will last until their demands for harmonization of the minimum wage with other wages in the education sector are met.

SONK demands monitoring of the percentage increase of the minimum wage, i.e., to increase the wages by 18.4 percent, and then to find a systemic solution and not to protest in the future whenever the minimum wage is increased.

Among other things, it is inadmissible for the president of SONK to fulfill their requirements by projecting the Budget for 2023.
