Christian Adventist Church organized an action called “Fruit instead of a cigarette” today to mark World No Tobacco Day.

-The purpose is to offer our citizens here in Skopje a healthier habit than the smoking habit. This is our first year here in Skopje, but we would like it to become a tradition with big campaigns, not only in Skopje, but also in other cities across our state. We urge all citizens to visit us here at our booth so they can leave their cigarettes, offer them an apple, but also a manual titled “5 day plan to quit smoking.” This manual has many practical tips for people who want to leave this habit, who are willing and want to be real winners, said Haider Dehran from the Christian Adventist Church.

Macedonian citizens support the action. Quitting this habit is the right step, they say.
