The newly elected president of SDSM, Dimitar Kovacevski, together with his predecessor and current Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, today will hold meetings with representatives of coalition partners that are part of the parliamentary majority.
– These are consultative meetings to get acquainted with the manner of cooperation with coalition partners so far, as well as future cooperation in the coalition, confirmed by SDSM.
An official handover of the leadership position in SDSM is expected by the end of this week, after Kovacevski was elected the new president in place of Zaev in the intra-party elections yesterday, who after the failure of the local elections in October announced his resignation from the leadership party, but also from the post of Prime Minister.
