The will of the people has been clearly expressed during the local elections – Zaev lost the majority in Parliament and the legitimacy to rule, said the opposition VMRO-DPMNE party.

• The citizens spoke loud and clear. Zaev needs to submit the resignation he announced during the elections, and put an end to the agony. He lost by 100,000 votes – a clear sign that Macedonia needs change and that change needs to begin with Zaev, the party said in a statement.
