– The Acting Minister of Macedonia, Olivera Chaushevska-Dimovska, was invited to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she was handed a note declaring the employee of the Macedonian Embassy in Moscow a persona non grata, the statement said, RIA news reports.

The ministry said in a statement that Macedonia’s move was unjustified. The Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on May 18 that, in accordance with Article 9 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, it had decided to declare a diplomat at the Embassy of the Russian Federation an undesirable person in Macedonia.
