VMRO-DPMNE from today as a sign of warning protest starts with blockades in Skopje and 10 cities.
According to the party announcements, the blockades will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm, and in Skopje during this period the intersections near Nova Makedonija, TC Mavrovka and Parliament will be blocked.
The president of the party, Hristijan Mickoski said yesterday that the party starts with such activities that will take place in the next period, due to, as he said, the secret negotiations that the duo Zaev – Buckovski are conducting with official Sofia, and refer practically to the future of Macedonia and the European integration process of the Macedonian people, nation and state within the European Union.

– What I want to say today, but also to repeat, is that from high diplomatic sources, from Brussels, but also from official Sofia we learn that the demands that are an integral part of the Declaration adopted in the Bulgarian Parliament will practically be part of the negotiating framework of Macedonia with the European Union and from that moment the bilateral problem we have with official Sofia, which refers to the uniqueness of the Macedonian people, culture, tradition, customs, Macedonian language, anti-fascist struggle, all those problems contained in the Declaration adopted by the Bulgarian Parliament will be a problem that we will have with the European Union, from a bilateral problem, it will grow into a problem between Macedonia and the European Union. We can prevent this only in one way, and that is the public with its criticism, and at the same time the people on the streets, within which VMRO-DPMNE every day starting tomorrow will block Skopje in three places and ten cities in Macedonia in the period from 3 pm to 5 pm, until the public is shown the document “Patokaz” or whatever you want to call it, which was negotiated by the Zaev-Buckovski duo with official Sofia, and refers to the acceptance of the Declaration adopted by the Bulgarian Parliament in 2019, to be part of the negotiation process or to be a step more precise is the first cluster “fundamentalals” or a pre-chapter. So, as a nation and as a state, if this is part of the negotiation, we will be faced with a double choice, and that is either assimilation – Bulgarianization in a day when we will complete your reforms and be part of the EU or freeze and abandon the dream of an EU, pointed out Mickoski.

He appealed to all political parties, whether left, right or center, whether parliamentary or outside parliament, to join the barricades, because the Macedonian people, the Macedonian nation deserve defense at this time.
– Not to be late after that, because the mistake that will be made today can have an impact on the future of all those generations who are unborn and all those generations who are practically with us today and who should not inherit. I use this opportunity to address the EU, the Macedonian people, the Macedonian nation, the Macedonian state deserves without conditionality, without additional roadmaps, without additional agreements since the start of negotiations with the EU in 2009. We share the values shared by the citizens of the EU member states. The Macedonian people, nation and state are the door to Europe.
We share Adenauer, Schumann and De Gasperi’s dream of a united Europe. Therefore, I urge you to leave these hegemonic demands from official Sofia, which deny the uniqueness of the Macedonian language, identity, history, culture, customs, and adhere to the values on which the idea of the EU is based. Give us a date to start negotiations with you and that date to be now on June 21st. This nation deserves it. Maybe Zoran Zaev and this Government do not deserve it, certainly not, but this nation deserves it. This nation and this country deserve it. Do not put additional pressure on him, he is a blackmailed enough, he does not need additional concessions, this people can not accept that. We are for dignified negotiations, and we will show you that we can and deserve to be part of you at that table, said the leader of VMRO-DPMNE.

Mickoski said: “I know that there are no reforms, literally in no area. But what this nation has done for Europe in the past, and what this nation has done for Europe in the near future deserves the start of negotiations. “On June 21st, let us start and prove to you that we are part of Europe and deserve to be part of a United Europe.”
