From today, June 7, foreign citizens can enter Greece with the so-called fast antigen test. The decision was made by the health authorities in Greece today.
However, the result of the rapid test will only be recognized if it is entered in an EU-approved digital certificate.
Therefore, the condition is that the electronic certificate is issued by a reference institution from the country of origin.
Despite this change, the obligation remains to fill in the electronic application form – PLF, through the website www.travel.gov.gr, at least 24 hours before entering Greece, and then proof of immunization in the form of a certificate of vaccination with any vaccine.
Unvaccinated people must have a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours, and if they had a coronavirus, they must provide confirmation that they had a covid 2 to 9 months before arrival. This is confirmed by a then positive PCR or antigen test to diagnose the virus.
Otherwise, this morning the only open border center with Greece is not crowded, except for a significant number of trucks waiting to cross the border crossing “Bogorodica” from the Macedonian side and “Evzoni” from the Greek side.
