With conductor from Bulgaria: Concert of the Philharmonic on the occasion of the anniversary of the death of Goce Delchev

Today, the Philharmonic will hold a concert to mark the anniversary of the death of the Macedonian revolutionary Goce Delchev.

The program will include works by Grieg, Handel, Mascagni, Mozart, Sibelius, Wagner, Offenbach and Bizet, with Ilina Mitrevska and Desislava Todorova as solo artist.

The conductor of the concert will be Hristo Hristov from Bulgaria who has had four performances with the Philharmonic Orchestra so far. Last time, on the same occasion, on May 4, 2019.

Hristo Hristov is a conductor whose musical talent comes out at the age of 12, when he won the first prize for piano at the National Music Competition in Chirpana. He graduated from the Bulgarian National Academy of Music and completed his orchestral conducting with Professors Karl Osterreicher of Austria (Kurt Sanderling from Germany) and Ilya Musin from Russia.
