The trial for case “Racket” continues with evidence presentation

The Criminal Court is due to hold hearing for the case “Racket”, in which Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 and former Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva are charged with laundering or abusing their office.
The case is currently in evidence and is being handled by Judge VaskaNikolovska-Masevska, and the prosecutor is Vilma Ruskovska.

The Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption filed charges against Bojan Jovanovski, Katica Janeva and Zoran Milevski last October.
The first defendant Jovanovski was suspected of committing the crime of “money laundering and other proceeds of crime” and “receiving a reward for unlawful influence”. The second defendant is accused of committing the crime of “abuse of power and authority”.

At the first hearing for case “Racket”, held on December 3rdlast year, the third defendant, Zoran Milevski-Kicheec, pleaded guilty to the offense of “receiving award for unlawful influence”, after which he was sentenced to three years in prison.
