Two and a half months after the launch of the Employing Macedonia 2 project, 1,500 people have found employment in 1,160 companies that have used the conditions of the project. Of these companies, 1,000 are small ones with a ten-strong staff.

“Through this project, these small companies have found a way to expand its business, to hire more staff and to prosper, thus finding a way to play a role in the reduction in the unemployment rate in Macedonia,” VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski said Sunday.

He noted that he was satisfied with the course of Employing Macedonia 2 compared to the first project.

“Employing Macedonia 1 was a very successful project, which prompted us to restart it,” added Gruevski.
