PM Dimitriev, VMRO-DPMNE leader Gruevski visit flood-affected areas in Skopje

Prime Minister Emil Dimitriev and ruling VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski, who cut short their summer holidays over the yesterday’s disastrous storm, visited Sunday the worst-affected areas in Skopje region.


The Ministers of Health and Labor and Social Policy, Nikola Todorov and Dime Spasov respectively, briefed the PM and Gruevski about the assistance being delivered to residents of the affected areas.

“We have decided to make a list of urgent needs. A joint committee, comprised of representatives of the Ministries of Defense, Interior Affairs, Labour and Social Policy and the Red Cross, has been set up at today’s Government’s session. Several neighboring countries have already offered assistance to Macedonia,” Dimitriev told reporters.
