MEPs Ivo Vajgl, Eduard Kukan and Richard Howitt are to meet Tuesday in Skopje with the party leaders to help find a solution for an exit from the political crisis.

The EU lawmakers come to Skopje after US and EU presented their assessment regarding the conditions for holding snap elections on April 24 and prior to Tuesday’s dissolution of the parliament.

The visit of the three MEPs was announced late Monday by EU Ambassador Aivo Orav on his twitter account, saying that Tuesday is the last chance for the party leaders to find a solution and MEPs should assist in the process.

According to Orav, the Ambassadors of EU states have discussed the situation. Vajgl, Kukan and Howitt mediated in reaching the June/July 2015, or the so-called Przino Agreement.
