Gruevski affirmed his party’s commitment to organizing fair, free and democratic elections in line with timeframe set in the Electoral Code, VMRO-DPMNE said in a press release.

Peaceful, democratic election process is VMRO-DPMNE’s top priority, as the forthcoming poll is crucial for putting an end to the imposed political crisis, Gruevski told Zaoralek.

He extended gratitude for the Czech support of Macedonia’s bid to join the European Union and NATO, which remains the country’s strategic goal, the press release reads.

The election process should be organized promptly in favor of overcoming the political crisis, Zaoralek said.

Macedonia and its European partners need stable government, one that will be able to cope with the migrant crisis, he said. Such government is also necessary for resuming of processes significant for Macedonia, including the country’s economic development, he said.
