It was renovated the library at this dormitory located in Block B and was equipped with literature project for translation of scientific books.

– A well done. For me personally and for the Ministry it is of great importance that students are satisfied with the conditions in which they now reside. With the same intensity we will continue with the next phase of reconstruction that we announced earlier, said Deputy Education Minister , who today visited the renovated wing of the dormitory and talked with some of the students accommodated there.

He announced that for Block A is chosen the company that will perform complete renovation and that in the coming days will begin construction activities.

– I am satisfied with the pace and I expect even with increased intensity the second block of the dormitory to be completely renovated in order to accommodate students following applying for student places. For blocks B and D and the dining hall is expected in the next few days, according to the deadline, to be completed projects for reconstruction and then to start the procedure for obtaining consent and to be able to announce the reconstruction of the two other blocks at this dormitory, added Ristovski.

He informed that they are about to finish draft project for construction of the dormitory “Nevena Georgieva Dunja” (Medicinar). In the next 30 days is expected to be submitted to the MES project for construction, which will be followed by public call for selection of contractor.

In the statement for media, the students Aleksandar Zahariev from Kochani and Krste Ilievski from Vevchani said that, compared with the previous, they have received better conditions for the renovation of the block.

– Now conditions have been drastically improved, especially in winter. The old block was very cold because the windows were old. We have new windows, heating is updated and the conditions are much improved, for learning and living at dormitory, said Zahariev.

Ilievski compared the new conditions with those in the dormitory “Pelagonija” where he has been accommodated last year. – Unlike there, you can feel the difference – there are better conditions for learning and more privacy. It is of great benefit to us the reading room, well organized and there is place for everyone. It is best that there is good thermal insulation and Internet as the most necessary thing for us students, Ilievski said.

In terms of the two projects for youth that will be realized through the Ministry of Education, which yesterday announced the VMRO-DPMNE leader Nikola Gruevski (laundry and tumble in dormitories and reading rooms in Strumica, Veles and Aerodrom), Ristovski said that the Ministry will support all projects that will improve the standard of youth and students.

– MES welcomes this initiative. With the announcement of the laundry machines and tumble in dormitories would be achieved additional standard, as it is in Western European countries. MES will take in all actions necessary for the project. It will support the project for opening new reading rooms because it is in the interest of the students and all the young people in Macedonia, said Ristovski.
