The Association of Chambers of Commerce holds Macedonian – Greek business forum in Skopje today, one month after a similar forum was held in Solun.


Businessmen from both countries, from various industries, will attend the forum, with the Mayor of Solun Yiannis Boutaris also expected to attend. The forum will be opened by SSK President Daniela Arsovska; Kyriakos Loufakis, who heads the Greek International Business Association and Columbia University professor David Phillips.

The goal of the forum is to improve business relations between the two countries. The two chambers of commerce will sign an agreement for cooperation, and the Greek chamber will present a study on the options for trade and joint investment in transportation, construction, tourism and farming. Despite the poor level of political relations, Macedonia and Greece maintain a strong business relationship
