After the success of the factory in Shtip, Johnson Controls opens new facility in Strumica. This investment is worth 20 million dollars and will create 1,500 new jobs.

As announced today Director “Johnson Controls” Willie Van Loi and Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones Viktor Mizo after meeting with Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, the investment will start with brown field in the existing building and then will grow in green.

– We have faced with capacity challenges in Europe because we did extensive analysis and concluded that we need to invest here, said Van Loi.

According to Mizo the fact that Johnson Controls reinvested in Macedonia confirms the success of Government policies for creating favorable business climate.

– Johnson Controls is investing in Macedonia for three times, first in Skopje in 2006, then in Shtip in 2011, and now in Strumica, stressed Mizo and added that now will proceed with the activities for adapting the industrial zone in Strumica.

The investment plan foresees the first jobs to be the end of the year.
