Awarding certificates for training in advanced ICT skills

USAID project Youth Employability Skills-YES Network and the City of Skopje today will hold event on presentation of certificates to 15 candidates who passed the training on advanced ICT skills.


USAID Mission director for Macedonia, James Stein and Skopje Mayor Koce Trajanovski will deliver addresses at the panel regarding the provision of qualified staff for the needs of the ICT industry.

The training is designed to help young unemployed persons to acquire advanced knowledge and skills in web application development, modeling and 3D animation, and graphic and web design.

YES Network is a five-year project implemented by the US non-profit organization Education Development Center (EDC), and funded through USAID. The project targets three groups of youth aged 15-27: students in their final year in Macedonia’s secondary schools, unemployed registrants with the Employment Service Agency and other out-of-school, unemployed and unregistered youth. Within the project scope is to work directly with secondary school teachers, staff from local ESA centers and NGOs that work with these young people
