Мusicians from Utrecht Student Orchestra today held concert for hospitalized children in the Skopje-based Clinic for Children’s Diseases.


Musicians held three small concerts at hematology/oncology unit, clinic’s amphitheatre and children’s playroom.

Founded in 1823, the Utrecht Student Orchestra is the oldest symphony orchestra in the Netherlands. It consists of ninety students of Utrecht University who share a passion for music. For over seventeen years Bas Pollard has been the conductor of the orchestra.

The orchestra will also hold concert at Skopje Summer, Bitola Summer Festival, 11 October Orphanage and several other locations.

The performance of the Utrecht Student Orchestra is the result of the cooperation between Clinic for Children’s Diseases and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Skopje
