Besimi in Brussels on meetings with representatives of the European Commission

Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Fatmir Besimi begins his two-day visit to Brussels where he is to hold several bilateral meetings with the officials of the European Commission.


Macedonia’s EU integration and current developments in the country are to be discussed at the meetings.

During the visit, Besimi is to hold separate meetings with EU Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, Director General for Enlargement at the European Commission Christian Danielsson and Jean-Eric Paquet, the Director for Western Balkans at the Directorate-General for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations to Montenegro. Besimi is also scheduled to meet MEPs Ivo Vajgl, Eduard Kukan and Richard Howitt.
