Besimi at the SEECP meeting in Tirana

Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European integration Fatmir Besimi is in Tirana for a meeting of regional foreign ministers as part of the South East European Cooperation Process. Besimi’s office informed that the goal of the meetings are to strengthen the Euro-Atlantic perspective of the region, provide lasting peace and development.



The annual gathering of the Regional Cooperation Council will also adopt the program for the coming period, and for projects to improve neighbourly relations. In Tirana, Besimi met with Albanian Foreign Affairs Minister Ditmir Bushati. Besimi’s office informed that the Deputy Prime Minister will discuss the political situation in Macedonia, and the need to continue good cooperation with Albania.
