Gruevski calls on serenity: We will not tolerate violent protests

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski reiterated today that the state would not allow violent protests.


He appealed to all citizens who intend to demonstrate to do it in democratic way.

– I would not support, not anybody in the country and abroad would support violent protests. Institutions will not allow it. Any protest that would result in act of violence against citizens or police institutions in Macedonia will not be tolerated same as in no other country, Gruevski said.

The Prime Minister emphasized that this message applies to citizens who have announced counter protest for tomorrow.
