The Prime Minister on a meeting with Rompuy, name dispute and reforms part of the discussion topics

The Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, today in Brussels will meet the President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy.


At the meeting with the President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy, as MIA informs, Gruevski will highlight the efforts and reforms that Macedonian government made on the road to European integration. Gruevski will inform him about the aspects of name dispute, which remains the only obstacle to Euro-Atlantic integration of the country as well as the willingness and openness of the Macedonian side to discuss his resolution.

Then, the Prime Minister will have working lunch with ambassadors of EU member states in order to present the steps of the Macedonian government for joining the Union.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will visit the Belgian University Hospital of Leuven. At the meeting with the management team, will review the possibilities for closer cooperation and exchange i.e. education of Macedonian medical staff in this top European university center.
